College of Food Engineering – UNICAMP
In 1966, it was first founded as College of Food Technology, located inside the Food Technology Institute (ITAL). Later, in 1972, André Tosello announced it as the first Food Engineering course in Latin America. Food and Nutrition, Food Science, Food Engineering and Food Technology are the four departments that constitute the College. It is responsible to provide services to Food industry on the aspect of sensory analysis, microbiology analysis, microstructure determination, drying processes investigation, quality control validation in food production, and many others.

You should take a bus from the Airport to Campinas Bus Station. LIRABUS offers the service from the three airports (travel times and fees info:https://www.lirabus.com.br/sites/translados). *most international flights land in “Terminal 3” and bus service to Campinas takes place at “Terminal 2”. Please check out with airport staff how to get to the right terminal.
Arriving to the Campinas bus station - please follow one of the two options:
1) Take the bus line “332 – Hospital das Clínicas”, get off at UNICAMP – Hospital das Clínicas and wait for “Circular Interno” (on campus free service) and get off at “University Restaurant – RU”.
2) Take the bus line “331 - Terminal Barão Geraldo”, get off at “Terminal Barão Geraldo” (free access to the buses at this stop) and wait for “337 – UNICAMP” and get off at “University Restaurant – RU”.
3) Cab:Regular taxi estimation prices to the event: R$ 45,00 – 60,00 (from Campinas bus station); R$ 140,00 – 180,00 (from Viracopos); R$ 400,00 –500,00 (from Guarulhos); R$ 350 – 400 (from Congonhas). You can also check prices using the private services that are available in Campinas (usually cheaper than regular taxi), like UBER, Cabify and 99Taxi.
